The goal of Castleton Christian Church Youth Basketball is to provide a Christian atmosphere where children learn that Gods influence extends to all areas of their lives, even the basketball court. Competition is important, but learning the fundamentals, team play and sportsmanship have a higher priority.

The league is for grades 1st through 4th, all skill levels! All registered participants will be evaluated during skills day on December 10th. These evaluations will be used to promote even team completion as much as possible.

• Dec. 3rd: Skills Clinic – 9-10:30am for 1st and 2nd grades
• 10:30am-Noon for 3rd and 4th grades
• Dec. 6th & 8th: Skills Clinic – 6-7pm for 1st and 2nd grades
• 7-8pm for 3rd and 4th grades
• Dec. 10th: Skills Assessments
• Dec. 13th: Open gym for registered players only 6-7 pm 1st & 2nd grades
• 7-8pm  3rd & 4th grades
• Dec. 17th: Open gym for registered players only 9-10 am  1st & 2nd grades
• 10-11pm  3rd & 4th grades
• Jan. 2nd: Practice begins
• Jan. 7th: Practice games
• Jan. 9th-13th: Mandatory parent meeting during child practice time
• Jan. 14th: Practice games
• Jan. 21st – Feb. 25th: Regular season games
• Feb. 27th: Tournament begins
• March 3rd: Consolation and championship games in morning
• Awards ceremony in the evening

Registration Fee $55 – If paid by on or before Oct. 27, 2011

(multiple players per family) — $50 per player
