Leadership

Lead Minister – David Johnson

David provides leadership for our Castleton Christian family and is our primary weekend teacher. He works hand in hand with a group of Elders in an attempt to prayerfully discern God’s leading towards fulfilling His purposes for us.

David is just a regular guy who loves the Lord and his job as a minister. He came to us from a three year ministry with a Christian College on the East Coast, but has devoted much of his life to serving local churches. He was born in Southern Indiana, but we try to overlook his accent and appreciate his passionate obsession for basketball. He is a graduate of Cincinnati Bible College and Cincinnati Christian Seminary, which are now both part of Cincinnati Christian University. He’s also done some doctoral study at Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA.

He and his wife Joyce have two married adult sons also serving in Indianapolis.

Associate Minister – Jonathan Willmore

Castleton is Jonathan’s first ministry and he is excited to begin a life in service to God and His people.

He came from Cincinnati where he was born and raised by two Christian parents. Though he is from Ohio, Jonathan is a Michigan Wolverines fan and loves to follow the Big Ten. Also, Jonathan is a fan of the Colts as opposed to the Bengals.

His wife, Erica, was born in Noblesville and also comes from a loving Christian home. She enjoys reading, doing puzzles, playing with her dog Luci, and having fun with children.

They met at Johnson Bible College where Jonathan got his B.A. in Bible and preaching. Erica earned her bachelor degree in Bible and missions. Jonathan is now working on his Masters of Divinity with a focus on theology and hopes to teach one day at a Bible College. They were married this past May and had a wonderful honeymoon on a Royal Caribbean cruise. They now live in Noblesville with their two dogs Fred and Luci.
