• Purpose: The purpose of the Property ministry is to maintain and upgrade the building and grounds. Property keeps a strong focus on using good stewardship in decision-making.
• Facets include:
  1. Indoor: Maintain and update electrical, plumbing, painting, drywall, wallpaper, and carpet. Appliances are also maintained, ordered, and installed when needed. Property is also responsible for decorating themes, building cleaning (regular cleaning and seasonal heavy cleaning).
  2. Outdoor: Maintain and improve exterior lighting, exterior signs, order and install all banners. Property oversees all landscaping issues, including flowers, shrubs, mowing, weeding, and future use of land. Also maintains the parking lot, arrange for snow removal, oversee roofing, and exterior painting. As much as possible, work is completed by members of the congregation.
  3. Other: Property is responsible for supply ordering, and long range facility planning. For projects requiring outside contracts the Property committee takes quotes, approves bids, enters into contracts with providers and supervises the work being done. The Property committee approves all building use by members and non-member functions. Building use questions and problems are resolved through the Property committee.
