Jeff & Juvon Johnson - Lead Servants

• Purpose: To provide teenagers with a loving environment to grow in their relationships with God and each other through the power of Christ Jesus.
• Facets include:
  1. Sunday Night JAM (Jesus and Me): A time of fellowship including games, snacks, prayer.
  2. WOW (Worship on Wednesday): This time is used for Bible study or discussions on current issues and how we as Christians can function in today's world. Leaders are needed to develop curriculum and lead discussions.
  3. Fundraisers: A variety of events such as Wednesday meals, Sunday meals, car washes, calendar sales, cookie sales, etc. to assist youth in earning funds to be used for activities or summer conference youth trips.
  4. Special events: Include New Year's Eve overnighter, amusement park trip, Super Bowl party, Youth worship services, etc.
  5. Bible Bowl: Intensive scripture memorization that involves weekly study sessions, monthly meets with area churches and a possible college tournament, all leading up to the National Convention in June. Assistants are needed to help in preparation for weekly study sessions and monthly meets.
  6. Christ in Youth and Jr. High Challenge: Annual trip to a Midwest location of these two Christian conventions. Each convention is during the summer and last 5 to 6 days. At least 1 male and 1 female per 4-6 youth is needed for these trips.
