“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Matthew 28:19-20 ESV

OUR BELIEFS.

  • Absolute Truth

This truth is revealed to us from God. He chose to do this through creation, the prophets of old, and finally in a collection of writings called the Bible.

  • The Bible

It is the inspired Holy Word of God. It came to us through inspiration and revelation. The original copies of the Bible are without error and are completely true. Therefore, it is the final authority on all matters of Christian faith and practice.

  • God The Father

He is the maker of heaven and earth and actively involved in the world bringing his good and perfect will to completion.

  • Jesus The Savior

He is the only Son of God and is God. Mary gave birth to him while still a virgin. He was made to suffer at the hands of the Governor, Pilate who had him beaten and then crucified. After dying on the cross, He was buried but was raised to life after the third day (Easter). He will return one day to pass judgment on the still living and those passed away.

  • The Holy Spirit

He is the good advocate for us to the Father and is also God. He gives hope and courage to Christians, equipping them with abilities to work in the Kingdom of God. He lives inside those who have accepted the truth about Jesus.

  • The Need For The Savior

Though mankind was created in the image of God, all have sinned and fallen short of God’s demands to live perfectly like Him. Therefore, sinners deserve eternal punishment unless a suitable sacrifice can stand in their place.

  • Salvation

This is only possible by the Father’s loving free gift of grace. He sent his only Son to accept our punishment for sins. Jesus submitted to the Father’s will and took upon himself this punishment of death. Though we do not earn salvation we must choose to receive God’s offer of grace. We receive this free gift by putting faith in Jesus, acknowledging our sins are evil (repentance), being immersed in water (baptized), and trying to live as members of God’s Kingdom expressed in Jesus’ teachings.

  • The Church

This was founded on the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2:14-47) almost 2,000 years ago. All who confess Jesus as Lord and have received the gift of salvation are a part of the church. We believe those in other denominations are also Christians. The Bible teaches that the Elders are the local authority for the congregation as they submit to Jesus who is head of all churches everywhere.

OUR VALUES.

  • Daily Living The Truths Of God's Word

It is vital that we translate the teachings of the Bible into the way we think, feel, speak, and act every single day! Therefore, it is God’s desire that we grow in our understanding and faith, our daily lives will be transformed and become a true reflection of life in Him!

  • Life-changing Praise & Worship

God is first of all worthy to be praised. (Ps 29:2, John 4:23). Therefore, as we praise and worship God, not only will our lives be changed but we will also have an opportunity to help lead others to God through our praise and worship of Him!

  • Intercessory Prayer

God wants us to actively involve Him in our daily lives. (Eph 6:18; I Thes.5:17-18; I Tim 2:1) Therefore, God desires that we would look through His eyes in every circumstance and in the circumstances of those around us by bringing every care to Him!

  • Biblical Preaching & Teaching

We believe that proclaiming the Word of God is the primary function of the church. The Bible provides for us the foundation and standard upon which we can build our lives. Our teaching and preaching the Word of God helps us identify sin so that we might confess and repent of our sins so that we may experience true joy. It is through studying and applying the teaching of the Bible, we gain wisdom, strength and insights that are not available through mere human knowledge! (Nehemiah 8:8) & (2 Timothy 4:2).

  • All People Matter To God

God loves all the people of the world and desires that all people would come to a saving relationship with Him through His son Jesus Christ (John 3:16, Acts 10:34, I Tim 2:3-4). Therefore, all people do matter to each of us regardless of ethnic background, age, or financial status!
